Over the years I’ve hosted quite a substantial amount of events, at which casting and interviewing has been part of my daily schedule as well (more often than not). Apart from my game related expertise however, I also have a fair bit of experience when it comes to management and marketing, which has shown to come in handy from time to time.
Want to know more about professional gaming and eSports in genral, from a captain’s point of view? Maybe you’re interested in how I actually managed to make a living off of playing computer games? Well, if that’s the case I would be more than happy to come and talk, whether it be in front of students, employees or other groups of people you deem worthy of my wisdom.
I began my professional eSports career as a Dota player in the early 2000’s. By “Dota” I mean the first comprehensive version of the beloved Warcraft 3 mod, which is now popularly referred to as “Dota 1”. Later on however, myself and many of my teammates transitioned to a very similar game, called Heroes of Newerth, which in general terms can be described as a “Dota 1 with better graphics”. At that particular point in time I played in something known as The Pro League, but when all that eventually came to an end my attention shifted to casting/commentating, as well as event hosting, which is currently my full time job.
Since my transition from professional gamer to caster and host, I have collaborated with a multitude of both small and large scale TV networks, such as SVT and MTG. I’ve also worked on web based platforms like Twitch.tv, and even on TV2 Norway. During all this time, my primary focus has naturally been Dota 2 commentary, but second to that has been my hosting of EsportSM, which is something I’m truly proud to have on my resume.
Today I run my own entertainment company, which allows me to do what I genuinely love. Namely, hosting events and casting Dota 2 (including a couple of CS:GO events). My main language is Swedish, through which I do the vast majority of my work, but I’m fluent in English as well.
In addition to all of this I also work as a coordinator at one of Sweden’s most renowned schools with regard to eSports, which I thoroughly enjoy. So, if you’re looking for a highly competent eSports caster, host or lecturer, with a mighty fine sense of humor, I’m your guy. Together we’ll assist in bringing eSports to the forefront of entertainment and business.
